Set under a clear sky with a gentle sea breeze, the resort gardens were beautifully transformed for the occasion, thanks to the incredible efforts of Jonathan Rudd, Kanyakorn Buasang, and Christopher Soderbaum. Sofitel not only provided a picture-perfect venue but also offered an exceptional array of international food and drinks.
Guests enjoyed culinary delights from around the globe — from Majorca to Ecuador, India, and England — served at themed booths, along with expertly crafted cocktails by Botanicals Gin, local spirits by Kilo Spirits, and a fine selection of international wines provided by SKÅL Krabi.
As guests arrived, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement for the evening ahead — an elegant mix of great food, drinks, music, and, of course, some competitive silent auction bidding. Every baht raised went toward supporting Natacha School, which provides vital educational opportunities to underprivileged children in Krabi.
Our SKÅL Krabi President, Ingeborg Kristensen, opened the evening with a warm welcome, followed by introductions of our honored SKÅL International guests:
- Kevin Rautenbach, Director, Skål International
- Eddy Brosse, President, Skål International Thailand
- Heike Garcon, Membership Director, Skål International Thailand
- Bas Van Straten, President, Skål International Phuket
Stefano Gonella, Vice President of SKÅL Krabi, guided us through the auction process and welcomed Elisabeth Zana, founder of Natacha School. Elisabeth shared the school's inspiring journey — from its humble beginnings to now seeing students graduate from university and go on to build successful futures. Her dedication is truly moving, and it was an honor to support her work.
Eddy Brosse then led us all in the traditional SKÅL toast — to happiness, good health, friendship, and long life — before we kicked off the evening’s main festivities.
Live music set the perfect tone, with DJ Cooper spinning uplifting tunes and a beautiful jazz performance by Khun Wattana, Principal of Natacha School, who wowed the crowd with two soulful saxophone sets.
As the night drew to a close, it was time to reveal the winners of the auction — and the big news: we raised an incredible 148,000 THB! Every baht will go directly to Natacha School, helping Elisabeth and her team continue their vital work for the children of Krabi.
This memorable evening wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of our hosts at Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf and Spa Resort, who went above and beyond with their support — from providing the venue, food, drinks, and setup, to donating auction items as well.
